Vaccines from serYmun Yeast GmbH are based on a proprietary and patented platform technology using yeast. Based on a modular design principle, different immunity-inducing components can be introduced into the yeast genome and expressed recombinantly. Different integration sites enable a combination of several vaccine components or pathogens in ONE yeast cell.

Compared to other vaccine platforms, the entire manufacturing process is very simple, safe and cost-effective. So far, proof of concept has been demonstrated in vaccination studies with four different pathogens in pigs, mice and fish. serYmun Yeast GmbH is currently working on developing vaccines for pigs, horses and fish.
